The Kónj Journal is a space for voices, stories, and reflections – a platform where we gather writings that speak of Balochistan’s history, architecture, traditions, rituals, crafts, and the lives of those who shape them. We welcome articles, essays, field notes, travelogues, and photo-essays that document and interpret our cultural landscape with care and depth. It is a place for both seasoned and emerging writers, where storytelling meets research, and personal observation meets collective memory. Submissions are open to all who wish to contribute, whether as a one-time writer or as a recurring voice in our growing archive. Alongside regular contributions, the Journal will also host seasonal internships, creating opportunities for research, writing, and dialogue guided by editorial mentors.
Guidelines for Contribution:
- Strong storytelling and original insight are valued over formal credentials.
- No portfolio is required – one writing sample is enough for consideration.
- Plagiarism limit: maximum 5% | AI-generated content is not accepted.
- All works must be the author’s own and previously unpublished.
- Submissions can be in Balochi or English
